2021 What to Bring

What to bring to camp

Surf Day Camps 2021

If you have your own wetsuit and boots, please bring them.  In fact it would speed up the process if you are wearing them on arrival at your 1 pm, or 2 pm, booked session.  The Surf Project recommends 5mm thickness for maximum warmth and enjoyment in the ocean. If you do not have one this thick that's no problem !  The Surf Project has lots of gear which is super clean and sanitised.

When you arrive for your session your Parent/Guardian will be asked to sign you in, and a sign-out will be required at the end of the session at 3 pm., or 4 pm.

Water will be available and a small snack after the session in the sea (crisps/fruit/wrapped biscuits).  If you would prefer a different snack for your child please feel free to provide one.

At the end of the sessions, following sign-out, the Parents/Guardians can assist the children/youth in changing from wetsuits back into dry clothing.

Sign-in / Sign-out by Parent/Guardian will be required each day.

Rosses Point Beach Camp 2021

Please bring clothes that are sufficiently warm  for the Irish Summer !  It  might be wise to bring a raincoat !

No-one is permitted to enter the water without permission from the Camp leadership.

At the moment, for reasons of health and safety, we are not planning to have a session of play in the water.  Under supervision the campers will be permitted to collect water in a bucket as the water laps onto the beach if that is required for games and creative play.  You could plan to stay on the beach after your child has been signed-out from camp if you want to make the most of fun in the water !

Water will be provided to drink - and a small snack (crisps/fruit/wrapped biscuits).  If you would prefer an alternative snack for your child please feel free to provide it.

Sign-in / Sign-out by Parent/Guardian will be required each day.

Technology Day Camp 2021

For the Teens camp please bring Face Masks for effective Covid-19 safety.  Face masks are not a requirement for the Juniors technology camp.

Water will be provided to drink - and a small snack (crisps/fruit/wrapped biscuits).  If you would prefer an alternative snack for your child please feel free to provide it.

Sign-in / Sign-out by Parent/Guardian will be required each day.
