What to bring to camp

 

Juniors Camp 2020

 
Please Note:  Sometimes clothing is left behind - It is really difficult to return the item to the owner if the item has no name label - Our advice is to label anything that you think your child is at risk of misplacing.
  • Sleeping Bag (or Duvet)
  • Under-sheet for mattress (fitted or flat single sheet)
  • Pillow
  • Bible + Notebook + Pen  : (We will have a good few spare Bibles)
  • Up to 25 euro for Shopping/Tuck Shop 
  • A Camp Bank is available - (Helps to stop pocket money getting lost)
  • NO chewing gum please, or energy drinks ! thanks,
  • Enough clean clothing for the 6 days
  • Toiletries & Towel (ie. toothbrush, toothpaste, soap/gel)
  • Suitable jacket / raincoat
  • Swimming Gear for the beach 
  • We are recommending footwear for the beach (eg. jelly shoes, sandals that won't float away)
  •      as there are occasionally weaver fish on the beach.

Please plan to arrive at camp at 5 pm on Sunday 5th July, and plan for collection at 2 pm on the Friday 10th July, thanks.  Registration starts at 5 pm, and there will be no supervision available before this time.  Registration will continue until 5:45 pm, followed by tea at 6 pm.

  •        (The shopping trip is to Enniskillen so feel free to bring Sterling
  •        (instead of Euro if you like - although most shops will accept Euro notes)

 This year the teens camp will be at Oceanview shared with the Dublin and Wexford Teens group.

Oceanview Camp Centre

Oceanview Camp Centre

Oceanview Camp Centre is a purpose built facility in Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal.  The centre is owned and managed by CEF Ireland, and is used in the summer months for camps for children and young people.  The centre can also be hired for use by other church and youth groups during the rest of the year.
